Kat’s Music Monday Entry
First of all, I want to say a big congratulations to Dave and JJ Heller. Their daughter Lucy was born on Saturday (her due date!) at 5:16am. Apparently, little Lucy is a very punctual child. (Visit JJ’s blog for some cute pics.)

Please take a minute to pray for the Hellers as they begin the incredible journey of parenthood.

Now you already know a lot about JJ Heller. You’ve watched her video, downloaded her album and have fallen in love with her music. Right?

Well now I have another great reason to tell your readers about her.

For the entire month of December JJ is giving away her newest song along with the chords.

MY SAVIOR’S LOVE ENDURES is a song that JJ co-wrote with her husband, Dave, and a gifted songwriter from TX named JENNIE LEE RIDDLE. (Jennie wrote a song called “REVELATION SONG” that is sung corporately by churches across America.)

We encourage you to let your friends know about this song since it won’t be available after the end of the year.

Visit JJ’s download page to learn more and get this free song.

Be sure to tell your readers about both of JJ’s free songs. Her featured artist page has all the details.

OK...I’m peeved, Fed Up, ticked off, and disgusted with the “Church” over its support of off-center Christian artists.  No, I don’t sound like Michael W. Smith or Carman.  I sound like me and consider my music a gift from God.  I’ve been a Christian for 30 years and a musician for even longer.
It seems like churches have an invisible wall between new artists and mainstream “Praise and Worship” bands.  In Houston, Texas I get more support from secular venues and audiences than from my church, which is one of the biggest in America.  Is anyone else feeling this or is it just a phase I’m going through?
